Undoing painting

An interesting take on the painting process by artist Andrew Long. Making paintings without a support system. I love it!

Great video! This guy is all about the paint--definitely thought provoking. It's so evident that just by his mode of operation, whatever he does next will also be worth seeing. PB

I love the way these paintings "without support" end up being sculpture, which usually denotes lots of engineering support. I'm always interested in pushing the spaces that exist between boundaries -or, in this case, genres. Very interesting find (yet again)

--i think thats what happens, an artist goes into a studio and leaves room for things to show up-- . I haven't seen this before. Thoroughly enjoyed it .
